The short version
- No analytics SDKs. No ad networks. No tracking of any kind.
- Every calculation — moon phases, zodiac positions, planet locations — happens entirely on your device.
- Your zip code and notes are stored locally and never transmitted anywhere.
- We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data from app usage.
- If you email support, we use your address only to reply.
📦 Information We Collect
- Nothing from app usage. Lunore does not transmit any data to us or any third party.
- No analytics. We do not integrate any analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry SDKs of any kind.
- Optional support contact. If you email us or use the contact form below, we receive your email address, name (if provided), and your message — nothing else.
📍 Location Data
- Lunore does not request access to your device's GPS or location services.
- You optionally enter a zip code manually. This is used solely to calculate local sky data — moonrise, moonset, horizon position, sunrise, and sunset.
- Your zip code is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or any third party.
📓 Notes & Personal Data
- Moon notes you write in Lunore are stored entirely on your device using local storage.
- Notes are never uploaded, synced to our servers, or accessible to us in any way.
- Notification preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
🔭 Sky Calculations
- All astronomical calculations — moon phase, planetary positions, zodiac signs, rise and set times — are performed entirely on-device using your local time and manually entered location.
- No calculation data is sent to external servers. Lunore functions fully offline after download.
🔧 How We Use Information
- Support emails are used solely to read and respond to your request. Nothing else.
- We do not use your contact information for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
🚫 Sharing & Third Parties
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party under any circumstances.
- The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data — no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Meta SDK, nothing.
- We may disclose information only if required by applicable law or valid legal process.
🗂️ Data Retention
- Lunore stores no persistent user data on our end. There is nothing for us to retain.
- Support emails remain in our inbox for reference. Email us at any time to request deletion.
💳 Purchases & Subscriptions
- All purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store.
- We do not receive or store your payment information.
- Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
👶 Children
- Lunore is suitable for all ages and rated 4+ on the App Store.
- We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, children included.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
- We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will always reflect any changes.
- Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
