Privacy Policy

Summary

• No accounts. No ads. No analytics SDKs.
• Conversion happens on-device. We don’t see your photos.
• Optional: preserve EXIF date; strip GPS by default (configurable).

Information Processed

• Images: Selected HEIC files are decoded and written as JPG or PNG locally.
• Metadata: You can keep the original date/time. Location data can be stripped.
• No upload: The app does not send images or metadata to servers.

App Permissions

• Photos: Access only to items you select for conversion and to save results (e.g., “Converted” album).
• Files: Used if you export to the Files app.
• Share Sheet Extension (optional): Lets you convert from other apps; still on-device.
• Shortcuts (optional): Quick actions run locally.

Data Retention

• Converted files are saved to Photos and/or Files only at your request.
• We don’t store copies outside your chosen destinations.

Sharing

• No selling, renting, or trading data.
• Disclosures only if required by law.

Children

• Not directed to children under 13.
• No knowing collection of children’s personal data.

Changes

• Updates will change the date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
