- Nothing from app usage. FishWhistle does not transmit any data to us or any third party.
- No analytics. We do not integrate any analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry SDKs.
- Optional support contact. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive your email address, name (if provided), and your message.
📍 Location Data
- Your ZIP code or location is used solely to calculate local solunar tables, tides, sunrise/sunset, and fishing conditions.
- No location data is transmitted to our servers or any third party at any time.
- FishWhistle performs all calculations on-device. Your location never leaves your phone.
🔧 How We Use Information
- Support emails are used solely to read and respond to your request. Nothing else.
- We do not use your contact information for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.
🚫 Sharing & Third Parties
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party.
- The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data — no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Meta SDK, nothing.
- We may disclose information only if required by applicable law or valid legal process.
🗂️ Data Retention
- FishWhistle stores no persistent user data on our end. There is nothing to retain.
- Support emails remain in our inbox for reference. Email us to request deletion at any time.
💳 Purchases
- Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store.
- We do not receive or store your payment information.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
👶 Children
- FishWhistle is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children under 13 for data collection purposes.
- We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, children included.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
- We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will reflect any changes.
- Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
